TWENTY MINUTES
OF APOLOGY
BY JILL HARGAN (BUENA PARK, SPRING 2000)

I'm sorry. Lo Siento. Pardon moi. And a million other ways to say I'm sorry. After all, this is a page of apology... isn't it? No, I didn't write anything this year. What can I say? Family... job... life... they all took their piece of me and the computer didn't get any. I did try... honest. I sat and stared at the screen many times, but... to quote Mildred, "bupkis!"

I do have several stories started, so don't give up hope. Maybe someday my fingers and my brain will hook up again and get something down on paper. Stranger things have been known to happen.

Well, down to business... Once again we made it into print - all thanks to Elaine, who refused to just let the zine sit and vegetate. I'm still determined to get the web site going and at least archive the old issues, but who knows when that will happen. Not me, certainly.

But, thanks go out for this issue to Cathy, Erin, Mark and Ann for writing, and for Elaine for everything else. (I'm not worthy... I'm not worthy...) I am a slug, a worthless piece of... well, the rest is implied.

Thanks also to you, the reader for staying with us, even when we produce teeny, tiny zines. You are our loyal support and we love you for it.

Please let us know what you think of the zine. Feedback is our only way to know if we should keep going. I would be particularly interested to know if you want the hard copy to continue or if an internet zine would be better. So we'd love to hear from you.

Thank you,

Jill Hargan
