The inevitable... editorial time... heavy sigh! Look I wrote my story, what more can be asked of me...? (Hey, look -- a question mark! Cool!)

Forgive any repetition between co-editors. This is kinda like Jeopardy... we don't get to see what the other's written until the end of the game, and then wrong questions are too bad.

But you must know, to begin with, Jill called me a few weeks ago and lied to my ear! Out and out lied! She said that R-4 was not going to be as large as the last one. She lied. (Okay, so maybe my tiny little story that wasn't finished yet was not quite so tiny, but that's only one story.) I suppose since we have some great stories in here, it's okay and I might forgive her (and no, Sharon, we aren't reducing the font size to CGTimes 9 point no matter what... I wouldn't be able to read it then, let alone our poor loyal readers).

Sorry for any typos that might have been missed. At least seven people read "Lois sat starring at her computer terminal" without saying boo about anything being wrong there... (and Brenda wasn't buying that that was what I really meant) I swear we do proofread this stuff.

Which, of course brings me to my thank you's!

First off, kudos to our Official Cousin Procurer of Artwork -- Sharon -- who'll walk up to complete strangers and ask for covers and drawings -- and gets them! We couldn't do it without you.

Hearty praises to our artists: Annita, Cathy, Joy, Kate, Mariann, Mike, Peggy. You are all the best.

We have the greatest authors, even if they don't understand what the word "deadline" means: Abdul, Annita, Becky, Gina, Maura, Pat, Robin, Sharon, Steve.

You can blame those nasty misspellings and erroneous punctuations on the following people (but please don't, you should see what they did catch): Brenda (the stressed), Barb, Cathy, Maura, Robin.

Very special applause to those who helped me (not even including the above proofers) with my story: Evelyn and Jen especially, Peggy and Sharon in particular, Leigh and Debbie and all others who were forced to download that monstrosity to their poor computers through e-mail. The support you all gave me was terrific. I promised you a story last year, but I didn't know it was going to require shutting myself off from the world and chaining myself to the keyboard (kinky, huh?) for almost a week. Whew! Hope you all think it was worth it.

And of course, thank you to Jill who's actually had to do most of the inputting and corrections (oh yeah, and writing) this year on both the zines we were working on because I've been such a stressed out slug. Sorry about that, but thank you anyway.

And mostly thank you for actually reading Relativity 4. I hope you enjoy it. I think it's pretty good, but I suppose my opinion doesn't count in this matter.

If there are any problems with pages being backwards or missing, please let me know immediately and I will correct the problem. I check each issue page by page, but after a few dozen zines, everything starts to blur together.

Please feel free to write us with your comments, positive or negative, we accept both (we prefer the former, though...).

NEWS FLASH! Buffalo Leg Scrapers Press has entered the Information Superhighway. You can reach either Jill or myself through e-mail now. We're both on AOL. My address is: ElGust@aol.com. Please feel free to write your comments, or questions, or just chatty letters to me at that address (if Jill wants to give out her address, she has to do that on her editorial page, I'm not using my space for that ;-)!).

Enjoy and Toodle-oo!
