TWENTY MINUTES OF APOLOGY

First of all, I want to thank everybody who contributed to this zine. I know that sounds like an Oscar acceptance speech, but I mean it. I can't even count all the hours of hard work that went in to this effort.
I owe everything to Elaine's tireless fingers. After working as a word processor all day, she would come over and input for hours at my home. With two little boys to look after, I would never have found the time to do it myself.
We were wonderfully surprised at the artwork done for us. Many thanks to Sharon for coordinating it, and to Mariann and Joy for drawing their fingers to the bone. We had hoped for a few drawings and got much more than we dreamed.
I have to mention Robin here. She got drafted in to do graphics for us at the last minute, not to mention a little writing assignment I foisted upon her one day out of the blue. Many thanks for her work as well.
I also want to thank all the "cousin" fans out there who egged me on and got into the act by writing themselves. It's always great to have other people join you in a fantasy. And they not only joined me, they helped expand the Michaels family into something overwhelming.
I can't forget Maura. She's my sounding board and idea person. I'll never forget that "adventure" through Ohio as we sampled ever mode of transportation known to man just to get to Cincinnati. We plotted out every Reunion story yet to be written. I still plan to write them someday. Don't give up on me.
Last, but not least, is Kerry. Though he really doesn't understand "cousins" or the need to write about them, he still is the
greatest husband there is. Thanks for letting me go crazy.
So here it is, at last. All the "cousin" stories I know of all wrapped up in one place. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoy writing for them.
